2006-12-09 Saunder's Gourge South Australia

This past weekend was hot. It reached 42 degrees C or 106 degree F. Saturday Morning I went dirt biking, at Pelican Point it reminded me of the Mad Max film set. It was a good time pretty hot. I tried to get my kite board out after that but no wind. Which may be a good thing check this link out www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,20891992-421,00.html

There have been a few sharks around. Sunday I went on a off road trip with some co-workers as seen below. It was a pretty easy trail but a good time over all. I did manage to bottom out a few times.

Its been awhile

I have not wrote an update in awhile.

To start, Id say my toughts and prayers are with my cuz Matt he had a bad accident, in Grand Rapids last Friday. Hope you start feeling better.

My life has had its ups and down latley. A few weeks I had a bad week, my bike was stolen which I blew off pretty easy. A few days after that some one broke into my car and stole my kite, kite board, wet suits, IPOD, and an array of other items it was pretty devastating. To say the least I was not happy. Since then I have bought a new kite, and board. Pretty much the same as my last one a Naish Torch 12 meter, I ll throw a picture up when I get one.

I figure I ll just write alitte about what I've been up the last month or so.

I took a trip to Sydney over Thanksgiving weekend. It was a pretty good time beside I missed my flight there, and had to buy another ticket. When I was there I hung out with my friend Simo and his roommate. They lived in Queens Cliff, right by Manley. Pretty nice place. Beautiful beaches. Pretty much we just went out to the bar and hung out at the beach. I had some inspiration to start video taping more again. His roommate Steve-O made some pretty awesome home made movies of snowboarding trips

Last weekend I got my new car a Jeep, I have always loved Jeeps so I'm pretty happy with it. I went the Goolwa, SA and drove up and down the beach. (Not the best way to break it in o well) That's where I seen the dead dolphin. (Sad) Then we headed over to this conservation park called Deep Creek. It had some amazing scenery and lots of kangaroos. As seen below.

This weekend I plan on taking my dirt bike out for a ride here in Adelaide out by the port. I'm a bit rusty on it, but it is still fun. Hopefully the wind will be up. Making good beach weather for my kite. Then Sunday we are planning another Semi Off Road Trip to Sounders Gorge 4WD Trail its about an hour outside Adelaide.
